The Rest of the Story

Charlie had an assignment in school: finish the following story, using words from the word bank.

One day, Randy was walking down Main Street. A crowd of people ran past. "Run!" one shouted. "Duckzilla is coming!"

Write what happened next.

Here is what Charlie wrote:

Randy tried to act brave, but Duckzilla was too big. "I can't believe that Duckzilla is so big," said Randy. Duckzilla had gigantic webbed feet and huge, enormous feathers. Randy tried to run away, but his dog's leash got tangled to his legs! He fell down! It looked as if Randy was doomed!

But all of a sudden, Superman picked up Randy! They flew over an ocean, but Superman didn't look where he was going and ran into an airplane and dropped Randy into the ocean and he drowned. Just kidding. He parachuted to the ground. (I wasn't kidding about Superman crashing into an airplane)
