Under the Tree

After opening the gifts from Santa and having a nice breakfast, we shifted our attention to the presents under the tree and from one another.

Sarah thanks Charlie for the Webkins cat he bought her with his school reading points.

By noon, Sarah had written Charlie the following thank-you note (which neither of them mentioned but which I found in the couch): Dear Charlie, Thank you for giving me Alyssa (the cat). Next time, you don't have to use all your points just for me. Thanks, Sarah.

Allison got her very own American Girl dolls - "Itty Bitty" twins. She immediately named them Tracey and Dolan. However, after 48 hours in Myrtle Beach with her cousin Rowan, the boy doll's name morphed from Dolan to Rowan.

Look - I got a football and a new hat!

Sarah's gift to Charlie celebrates his appreciation of the ironic.
