More Christmas Eve

We settled in after church for our traditional Christmas Eve dinner of flank steak and brown rice. It was delicious and got a thumbs-up from David.


Then we tracked Santa's progress on-line. We saw a lot of places Santa had already visited, and we got excited that he had made it across the Atlantic and was down in Latin America. It was time for us to go to bed! But not before the traditional reading of The Night Before Christmas (A Visit from Saint Nick), read by Daddy. We didn't feel like hunting for the book, so Daddy read it from the computer this year.


Soon the children were nestled all snug in their beds. Again, we followed a long-standing tradition of the children all having a slumber party in one room. They were so excited for Christmas morning!
